About Me
I provide communications solutions for non profits and development foundations focusing on development, environment, conservation, ecotourism. I work primarily with rural communities to support education, health and enterpise opportunities and ultimately job creation. I have ten years experience across media, communications and public relations and have travelled and worked across 15 African countries. I am passionate about achieving a sustainable and prosperous Africa and do my bit by seeking out postive and constructive stories that tell of African grown solutions to our challenges. I am happiest when I am working in rural communities, travelling on dusty roads and close to nature. My balance of knowledge and field experience gives my story telling an authentic voice. In my work with several NGOs in a communciations and community engagement role, I have visited over 200 rural schools and community projects and have assisted in the provision of clean drinking water, saniation and improved infrastrcuture. I have worked with partners to develop food gardens for schools and create enterprise models that support rural community development. From my observations in the field and my engagements with government, private sector and development agencies, I have many ideas and theories as to how we can support Africa's growth and improve our impact. You can read some of my ideas on www.developmentsafari.blogspot.com I hope to share some of my stories and lessons with you on Global South Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text.
