Silver Lining Creation announced a new global team for Global South Development Magazine on Friday. The team consists of 19 members who represent a diverse range of regional and professional background.The newly declared team has an editor-in-chief and an assistant editor along with five regional editors, three special correspondents and nine country correspondents.
Among the new comers, Lingson Adam and Kristina Gubic will be working as regional editors for East and Southern Africa respectively, whereas, Khalid Hussain has been given the responsibility of covering South Asia. Ioulia Fenton and Catriona Knapman have been appointed for the same post from Latin America and the MiddleEast.

Mary Namusoke will be covering women’s issues from Africa as a special correspondent. Similarly, other two special correspondentsRoxanne Irani and Sandeep Srivastava will cover global environmental issues and the issues of climate change.
Nine country correspondents will be reporting about developmental issues from their home country or from the country they are based in at the moment. The nine country correspondents are Levi Tebo Mbah, (Cameroon),Fady Salah, (Egypt),Hannah Martin, (Ghana) Dr.P.V.Ravichandiran, (India),AtikAmbarwati, (Indonesia),Era Menchavez-delaPena (The Philippines) ,Moses C Masami, (Tanzania),Kimbowa Richard, (Uganda),Jasen Mphepo, (Zimbabwe)
Members of the global team were already able to make contribution to the magazine’s October issue. The executive editorial team reported that the number of its global team will increase in the future as Silcreation is assessing several applications of other applicants who want to work for the magazine.
Global South Development Magazine is a brainchild of Silcreation Finland and was established in 2009.The magazine has received widespread response since its first publication in March this year.
