The documentary is based on one declining ethnic minority group of Nepal called ‘Bankaria’. The Bankarias were 'found' in the jungle of the malarious valley of Chure Hill on the top of Hadikhola in a very vulnerable condition nearly about a decade ago by some journalists.Nobody knows how many generations they have spent their life in the jungle and have remained unidentified. But this tiny group of 70 members were 'rescued' from the jungle and resettled in homes. However, they are not still far from the jungle and safe from a steephill stream.

The documentary features their experiences of living in the jungle and,portrays, most importantly, their genuine struggle for rights,justice, dignity and a big phrase ‘actual Identity’. Moreover, it also talks about the efforts made by different organizations to improve their situations and a mild criticism on development.

The Bankarias(2010) an indigenous tale was written and directed by Silcreation's Assistant Director Som Chaulagai.
